AngelLab named as investment partner for LCIF

AngelLab has just been named as a partner for the London Co-Investment Fund (LCIF), a £25m initiative led by the Mayor of London to help drive seed investment for London-based tech start-ups.

We are delighted to announce that we have been selected, after a competitive bidding process, as one of just six investment partners for the fund, alongside firms such as Wellington Partners and Playfair Capital.

AngelLab was founded to help address the inefficiencies we, as investors, identified in the UK startup ecosystem. We have a passion for working with outstanding tech talent and supporting them as they create world-class businesses. In the last two years, we have worked diligently to prove that our methodology can deliver above-average returns, and our portfolio now contains many of the fastest-growing and most innovative London-based tech startups.

The LCIF partnership will support our investment strategy by increasing the capital we invest per company, further enriching our dealflow, and will help to consolidate AngelLab’s position as one of the most dynamic tech investors in Europe. We are focused on continuing to execute our unique portfolio strategy, and delivering solid returns for the capital we invest; we’re excited to have been selected by the LCIF and are grateful for the validation.
